DIY Destination Wedding Guestbook

In honour of two friends who have just gotten married (Congrats Amy & Roy!) and another two who will soon be tying the knot destination wedding style, here’s a cute and 'not your average' DIY project I shared with them:

Instead of picking up a traditional guestbook to bring with you to your destination wedding, create or purchase postcards from you destination for your guests to sign.

Affix pre-paid postage and leave them scattered on a table with a note asking friends to write a message of advice, a funny anecdote or a good memory from the trip.  Personalize it to your tastes and have fun with it! 

Appoint someone in your bridal party to collect the postcards and put them in the mail for you.  That way when you and your husband/wife get back from your honeymoon, you have something to look forward to!

To finish off this “not your average guestbook”, purchase a scrapbook or photo album to place them in as a nice keepsake from your wedding.
